  1. Hey TT,

I haven't been a member too long and hopefully without judgment.......hahahah, I have been playing different brand clubs for many years prior. I took the Titleist plunge and I have a question in regards to a custom order. I placed an order on 08/24/22 through Titleist.com and just got notification that my order has shipped (shipment label created at this point on the tracking). I did call customer service and they were very nice and helpful, but I was just wondering if any of you have had a custom order be processed so quickly? It was t100 4-PW w/ Project X 6.0, all standard specs.

What I asked customer service, due to very quick processing, was if I was being sent a returned set that someone else had and didn't want? They did tell me that they don't re-sell returned merchandise to customers, so they said this how quickly irons are being built now. I have watched titleist videos before and that video showed how the club department has cells and they can get your irons built in like 2 hours or something, so it is quite possible, that is exactly what happened here. I just thought I'd ask this community, if you've ever experienced that kind of speed with an order with Titleist and if I have any reason to be concerned?

    I appreciate yalls input!

    John

Only one way to find out! I've never ordered directly from Titleist, but when I ordered my T100 irons in late February, I didn't receive them until early June.

No chance whatsoever that your clubs were re-purposed. I do know that the Carlsbad facility is finally caught up on orders and has been processing pretty quickly for about a month now. I have toured the facility and seen how the electronic orders come in and go the the assembly "cells" for personal production. I don't think any returns even go to that same location as they would go to a repair station. They do not take any used sets in trade. Only retailers do that and would keep them at their stores. Know that your set is truly custom made for you.

“Back in the day” (pre-COVID) my orders would be built in 4-5 business days from ordering and another 4-5 days shipping to the upper Midwest. My SM-9s took 12 weeks earlier this summer.
Looks like your order is approaching normalcy. I’m a little concerned if I end up with a TSR order soon, with all the hype and demand, it would arrive too late in my season to fully wring out.

Simple. It's late in the golf season, and not many orders being placed this time of year. March-May is peak order time when the golf season is just getting underway in most of the country.

And before the pandemic and without product shortages, it was generally common for most custom clubs to ship within 3 to 5 business days. We often had clubs ship in 2 days on rush orders.
  7. Thanks for the replies. Played twice with the new irons and they are awesome.
