I’ve been asking myself why I keep all my old clubs a lot lately. Just curious if you all kept your old clubs or pawn them off as you replace them. If you keep them, why and what do you do with them?

Post pics of your old sets for pure nostalgia!

Old clubs are like old wives. Best to keep them in the garage or pass them on to someone who gets better use out of them.

I used to but it was getting out of hand. Now I have my gamers and only two backup sets. I do still have 6 bags so their are still signs of my hording infliction. BTW, we can't post pictures. The forum changed its structure a while back so that only initial posts can add pictures. Probably done due to the large storage capacity required for graphic files.

A backup set stays. Everything else gets traded in for new clubs.

I think you gotta have at least 1 back up! The world is a wild place and you dont wanna be left without clubs should something happen

I've kept my old Titleist sets, but other brands, I've either thrown out or given away. The Titleist sets have come in super useful as my son has grown. I had a set of 712 AP1s, I reshafted and regripped them for him, my 913 series woods and hybrid are his. After I received my T200s earlier this year, I cut the shafts and did another regrip, he plays those now.

When I upgrade to the TSR family in the spring, he'll get my TS3 driver, 3 wood, and hybrid.

Oops, what I meant to say was, that after receiving my T200s, I cut down my 718 AP1s for my son.

I have never been one to keep a lot of extra clubs around the house. There are a lot of seniors at our course who are in need of good used clubs and I have been know to pass on good deals. They have cleaned me out. I have one extra set (original AP2, 917D2 AND 917F png PLD putter). Two midsize tour bags and one lightweight carry bags, all Titleist. One tour bag and the lightweight bag are embroidered with my name and TT logo. I am always on the lookout for old clubs. I visit Goodwill and sometimes people leave them by the curb. If I find worthwhile clubs, I pick them up and sell them or take them to my favorite golf shop for credit.

I have a set of Titleist 731 PM’s which I could never part with I just love them. I like to take them out every now and again. I have a few putters as well. But drivers fairways hybrids and other sets are traded or sold on. But I just couldn’t do it with my old titleist irons.

I just have my gamer set that I travel with. As I update with new releases, I donate my hand-me-downs to the local First Tee affiliate. I think of it as my part of growing the game.

I don't have a picture of my original set of clubs. I left them in Maryland for when I travel up to hang out with family.

I got rid of all my old sets when I got out of the business years ago. I only have my one set with a couple of loose clubs and that's it. I may get a backup set of irons should the opportunity come up.

Always traded mine in or gave to local high school for them to gift to a player who may need an upgrade or just a set of clubs.
