    Hi All,

I currently have a set of T300 Irons and I'm thinking of upgrading to a set of T200s. Maybe a mixed bag of T200s and T300s.

Does anyone know if Titleist is planning a redesign of the current T200s as I believe they usually do it every couple of years? I'd hate to purchase only to find out the model will be redesigned in the spring.

    Thanks,

The new T Series irons should make their PGA Tour debut in July/August 2023. We should be able to get them sometime in September 2023.

I’m definitely waiting till next year to change my irons. Titleist will only come out with better. #teamtitleist

On Titleist's usual 2 year cycle these would be updated/replaced in late summer/autumn of 2023

I play the original T200's (2019) they changed (2021) and added the back plate to give them a muscle back look. I'd expect in the fall of 2023 they could make some subtle changes to current model, but don't see anything really drastic changing. just my thoughts though.

Does anyone know if the lofts drastically change? I need new wedges and want to upgrade them this year and then irons next year with the new release. Don’t want to have the gapping all off

This year I got fit for the T100S which I was shocked to be fit into such a beautiful looking iron. My only issue is I don't hit it far but I am very consistent with my dispersion. Would anyone think I would get more distance with T200?
  8. Hi, you will get more distance with the T200s. The lofts are slightly stronger than T100s. The hollow construction will give you a bit more ball speed as well.

I own both the T100s and T200 irons because I’m trying to decide which I prefer. Very much like you, loved the T100s irons and the dispersion, but want more distance due to slower swing speed these days after 2 hip replacements. Hence, the T200 irons. In a head to head I did between the two, definitely get more distance overall with the T200 irons. I posted a comparison I did between the two clubs in this section I think…shouldn’t be hard to find…depending on your swing speed, distances will differ, but I was getting around 5-7 yards more from the T200, and more consistent/better dispersion than the T100s irons…only issue I have is the T200s lack feeling for me…I’m trying to find the right shaft to maximize the feel as they are a better performing iron for me, but still haven’t found what I’m looking for to quote the famous U2 song…

I had my T100’s bent 2* strong and quite happy with them. My issue is focus concentration on every shot.
Just not possible so will wait for the next T200’s and hope the drop the carbon fiber/fiberglass back.
  11. I have both the T100s and the 200's and I find that I have better accuracy & dispersion with the 100s. However, the 200's do go about 3 to 5 yards further for me. From a golf mat on my simulator, I would prefer the 100s. However, with all the different lies you can get on the course I find that I do better with the forgiveness of the T200's. I do love both of the sets, with the nod going to the T100s for looks and feel. However, I find myself gaming the T200's more often because of the forgiveness. Hope this helps!

You might see a slight increase in distance due to the head design. The lofts are the same 4 iron through 6 iron and 1 degree stronger 7 iron through PW. Which on average might get you 2 - 3 more yards per club. My question would be this : you got fitted into 100-S, you say your shot dispersion is good....why do you need a few more yards distance ? Hope this helps.

Further to Tom's comment, the stronger lofts (7 through PW) will provide you with more distance, but you could also see more distance on off centre hits as well with the hollow design. I'll say that Titleist has done an impressive job with the T-Series. I just purchased the T200 that came in the mail today (been eyeing them up for a while). The top line T100 through T200 are very similar, it's like I'm playing my old 2018 AP2's.

Interested to see what the next T-Series will look like. Could be a similar re-design like one of their competitor's just released under the same name.

Also, no guarantee that the next line will be T100, T200, T300. Look at years past and sometimes they offer more or less, sometimes they drastically change and sometimes the changes are more subtle. I'm sure we will start to know more as the year progresses.

I wouldn’t worry about that… case in point: the best set of AP2’s are still the 714’s, IMO.
