Well, I always seem to find myself in a spot where people want to hit my clubs and I let them.

Unfortunately, this time, the dude hit a straight pop fly off the crown of my 3 wood leaving a nice golf ball size scratch for the rest of eternity. I guess the 913 series is getting old. Time to try on the new tech for size. Bummer, but I still let people hit my clubs.

Nope.... It's not going to happen. I have never asked to hit anyone's clubs and I will politely turn anyone down who asks me.

Back in the days of persimmon or 'strata-bloc' wood heads, you NEVER let anyone hit your club.

Unless I know them, there is no way I am letting them hit my clubs. And on top of that, they must be somewhat good/consistent, otherwise it's a no or an agreement that if you break the club you buy it!

If you get custom fit for your clubs, easy conversation to end.

"Would love to let you hit it, but they are fit to me and my swing, you will most likely not get the result you're looking for."

But, in general outside of my dad or son, you're not hitting it. I'll let you hold it and look at, put it down in the playing position.

You should know if you can trust someone to hit your clubs after a few holes. Everyone has a bad hole every now and then, but a pop up that has sounds like he needs some work. Hate to hear about your club

I have let people use my Vokey's around the green because they can't understand what I tell them it does as for the feel off the face.

Drivers I have but only people who play golf well and are looking to maybe buy a Titleist driver.

Irons, nope because of tempers on bad shots. I don't need an iron hit on the ground because of a mis-swing.

Putter, I don't like anyone that well to let them use my Scotty Newport 2. ;)

I believe in sharing the Titleist experience, but it's gotta be someone who I know their swing and how they handle their clubs. If Titleist paid me $5 for every buddy I convinced to go with Titleist or at least give them a good tryout, I could retire at a nice golf club somewhere I can play year-round.

Depends on the person and how well I know them and their game. When I was one of the first to play the TSR Driver and Fairways, people would ask me how they played. I think only a couple of people asked, but I didn’t let anyone hit them.

Ill be honest it really depends who it is and how well they play because of that exact reason. Id rather not get bent of out shape if someone crowns my club.

Very picky as to who touches my clubs. Have to know them and their game real well. Most of the guys I play with do not share clubs. We are Titleist guys and have been fitted.

One of the guys in my foursome asked to try my TSi4 in late summr during the round…he hit a pop fly and put a ball size dent on the top crown . I was sick to my stomach and every time I set up for the drive I can’t help but zoomed right onto the dent. Needless to say I did a custom fit session with our local Titleist fitter and got fitted with the new TSR4 and custom shaft. Club arrived within 4 weeks and I am super excited and can’t wait to hit it on the course! Love the new setup!
  19. Never a wood for exactly that reason lol. If my driver is going to have an idiot mark, I am going to be the idiot that did it.
