I’m looking to get into a set of Titleist irons this year. I played the p770s for the last two seasons and switched to a set of 710MBs about October of last year.

I pulled the 770s because the distance control was very difficult. Those clubs were very pure and hit great, but the face was too hot. My 7i carry was about 210 with an 220 total. But sometimes I’d rocket one 230+. Moving to the man has brought my carry down to 185-190 and very consistent. Problem is, well, they’re blades. I’m not a world class ball striker, but I’m pretty good with my irons. But when I miss, it’s so punishing.

What kind of boost are you guys seeing from the T100? Obviously, I’ll hit them when I do my fitting, but was just curious what your experiences have been with distance control and a hot face.
