Any Guesses on what these irons could be?

    Ive done ALLL the research and Im starting to think these are counterfiet. The quality seems there tho. They are some sort of MB. The only markings on the irons is Titleist logo and the iron #. No serial, No Model, nothing. The set is 1i-PW Prev. owner knew nothing about them.

    Titleist got into the club manufacturing business in the late 1960s with the purchase of Golfcraft. I played Golfcraft irons with the fibreglass shaft in college. That club looks like the last irons Golfcraft made. I still have a set, 1i to SW, in the basement. I played major college golf in the early '60s. Most all the players used either Wilson or MacGregor clubs.

    They look similar to a 1980 Tour Edition I have. Although mine are also stamped Tour Edition. …And are LH.

    UPDATE: After talking to a couple guys and Titleist themselves. They said it probably earlier days of titelist, possible variation of the box blade or tour edition. Made slightly different for a tour player to try this is the reason they gave for lack of serial or model #.

    What is the grip and shaft?

    It could be a prototype of Tour Model from the late 70's or early 80's.

    True Temper and Golf Pride. That is what a couple people have said, prototype made for a specific player. The offset, lie angle, etc have been adjusted dramaticaly on some clubs.
