Felt horrible for a month now. Played in my local Club Championship in Ohio on a smaller course. fever, sweats, migraines, dizzy, blurred vision, not thinking clearly. Lost my new Black T100s 7 iron and 48 degree. No one turned them in. Looked all over the course, gone. Called Titleist today. Can’t replace them. I’ve spent so much money there, wish they had things like these for these scenarios. Diagnosed with shingles yesterday. Started anti-virals even though they think they are worthless since the time passed. Nerve medication for the intense nerve pain, and so on. Honestly rather have my irons back and deal with this longer than deal with this on short term and my irons are gone forever.

Put wanted/reward poster for them at the course. I’m sure they are gone forever mixed in with a nice set of garage sale clubs. Disappointed in myself!

Granted it isn’t pleasing to add the polished chrome to replace the black clubs, but that is superficial. Unfortunately shingles doesn’t let you pick the term of impact. You may have 2-3 weeks of discomfort but you might have side effects that can last for months.

I always prefer good health over any physical object I might possess. Hoping your episode is both short and self limiting.

My first set of irons were Cobra irons circa 2008. I lost the graphite 7 iron and was only able to obtain a metal shaft 7 iron from a website maybe Lost Irons. It played so differently that I went to a (former) Cobra fitter and ended up with my first set of Titleist irons. This was when Acushnet sold off Cobra. So, I guess my story has a happy ending.
