  1. What titleist driver do people feel is the most forgiving, i know there is the marketing but what do people actually find?

You are probably asking a question that is too general to answer. What is most forgiving to a high handicapper with super slow swing speed will not be the same perspective as a low handicapper with fast swing speed and very little off-center hits. See a professional fitter and get the one most forgiving to your swing. Also know that the technology is not advanced enough to redirect the club during the swing to match up with the center of the face automatically. There is still some skill involved that you can't buy from the technology. The textbook marketing answer would be TSR1 most to TSR4 the least but many people fit into the TSR2 or TSR3 with similar forgiveness.
  3. I tried the tsr1, 2 and 3. The 3 wasn’t right for me, the 1 was ridiculous, it just went straight no matter what but it was short. The tsr2 was the best blend for me, but having had it a few weeks now it was the right choice. I’ve lost count of the number of drives that have been poor and finished up being very playable.

In my opinion you want to be looking at 1 & 2 for forgiveness but the shaft is mega important. I’ve ended up with a HZRDUS 5.5 when I’d have looked at the tensei blue in stiff if id have done it myself.

TSR2. It has a higher MOI than the TSR1. TSR1 compromised some MOI with savings in weight.

I have the tsi 1 and tsr1 with a 70 degree stiff tipped shaft all i can say is both of them are brilliant, long and fairway finder ! i swing at 100mph with my driver to give you an idea

I think a better answer is what is the most forgiving shaft for your swing. All the heads have some designed forgiveness but if you have the wrong shaft it will not matter.

Obviously the degree of forgiveness varies by player. In the prototypical average player, the TSR-2 will be the most common suggestion.

While my swing speed is well within the sweet spot for the -1 drivers, the -2 works better for me. The stock 45 g shaft and the lighter head (less MOI) was harder for me to feel the club head. I didn’t get much of a speed improvement. As well as getting spin rates over 4000 rpm’s frequently. Those shots would launch over 18 degrees and land with almost no roll. So between more consistent strikes and a higher smash factor (ball speed over club head speed) I get more fairways and distance with the -2. Trial and error with a fitter to get the best result.
  8. When I got my TSR2 driver, I changed to the new Project X rip tide even flow shaft 50g 6.0 . VERY VERY nice.. Great feel and kick,

I tried the TSR2 and TSR3 at my fitting and the 3 was more forgiving for me due to the adjustability. You really need to get fit to find out. I would have guessed totally wrong if I went by what the website says or from the forum advise. Each person is different.

I absolutely love my TSi2 driver. My slice is gone and now have a sweet fade. 90% of fairways hit! Couldn't be happier with this club! Now to work on the approach shots... ")

If you listen to all the hype about clubs and go buy off the shelve, then you are doing yourself and big injustice. A good experienced fitter can be your best friend. I ALWAYS go see my experienced longtime fitter when I feel I need to make a change and let him make that decision. We try numerous combinations to see what fits my swing. He has even told me that I do not need to make a change when new releases have come out. It is a partnership and he has never steered me wrong. My two cents.

I would say the TSI2 and TSR2 are the most forgiving driver. Never testing the TSR1 or TSI1.
  13. Been using Titleist drivers for years. Had a TSI2 and hit it very good but I went to the TSR2 this year and it's just hard to tell you how much improvement this club is over past drivers. It is so smooth and straight that I soon started cranking up the speed.. can't believe how far and straight I am hitting now. Play my home course all the time so I know where my drives have been.... not so perfect hits are better than TSI2 and flush center hits, I am getting 15 to 20 yards more. Very straight. I'm 77 and I'm getting distance like I did 20 yrs ago. Put in the Project X rip tide even flow shaft 50g 6.0 . Thank you Titleist...
  14. Very happy with my TSI2 driver but got the new TSR2 now and no question about it.... much improved. Longer

Get fit, like the other said, but the TSR3 was the most forgiving for me. Its in play every time I use it, fantastic driver
