I can buy mint condition Titleist C16 irons cheaply from a pro. Play the t200 (2019) irons. Same Nippon shaft as the C16.

What is your opinion on the irons? Possibly suitable as a 2nd set?

Did not hit them right now but they look very sharp to me. The professional told me that these irons are more like the former AP2´s but more forgiving with a lot of technology.

Are they still good, or to old compared to the T-irons.

While I wouldn’t say they’re super comparable to the modern iteration of the T series, I would venture that you’d be extremely happy with them. If the price is right, go for it. There are plenty of players gaming far less capable irons out there with success.

I don’t know if this will help. I have c16s. Won’t trade for any other irons. And believe me I was an iron hor I either tried borrowed or bought a lot of irons from every company and they know me by first name at pga store here in Vegas. Being older it’s graf shafts but best of best as far as I’m concerned hope this help I bought these used but looked new when bought (still do) I take very good care of golf clubs
