Hi, if you take a T100 and add 1 degree stronger on the lofts, this will reduce the bounce by on degree. I dont see how they could add bounce.

Unless you are a top pro on tour, they won’t be doing custom grinds on the irons. The bounce will move with the loft.

Probably best if you work with a Titleist sponsored fitter to talk over your expectations and see if your expectations can be met with a shaft switch. The T150 is more than a 2 degree loft and wider blade T100. It has more tungsten to make it easier to hit than the T100. More importantly, focus on the results than adjusting the loft empirically before you even hit them. Unless you satisfied buying off the rack for the same price as a no upcharge shaft with agreed upon lie, loft, and length custom built set.

1 degree is of no real benefit, and don't even worry about a slight amount of bounce. I'll say out loud (I'm that guy), you're talking about assembly line clubs, even by our beloved Titleist. They aren't killing themselves to make sure off the shelve grinds are perfect. If you're even a scratch player like I am, you're sensitive about your clubs. My new T-100's are at a shop getting the spec's checked out. I've had a few issues in the past. They are NOT checked after assembly, regardless of what you've heard/read!

You are correct. They are not checked after assembly.

I’ve been to the factory tour at least 3 times. Each club is tested throughout assembly at multiple steps. Each test must be passed per the spec of the system computer system.

These semi-robotic analyzers are a significant investment. I’m not sure local shops can be as precise with the same frequency, using equipment worth hundreds of dollars versus thousands of dollars. Granted, some components can get through if the entire batch passes a statistical sample. But assembly is much more complex and monitored than Ford building a Pinto on a Monday in 1973. But we are all entitled to our opinions.

I agree empirically adjusting loft is fake science. The goal is to dial in launch and consistent distance and gapping. GolfWRX just posted a T-series fitting on UTube where the fitter adjusted a T200 Utility build 2 iron from 17 to 18 degrees to dial in launch and ball speed to match with a T150 4 iron.

It is my understanding that the T100, T150, and T200 all have the same blade length and offset. At address, the topline thickness is basically the only difference you see. It may be an optical illusion that makes people think that the T150 and T200 have longer blade lengths.
