  1. I am looking for a fitter close to me that has openings. I almost ordered the GT4 today without trying it. I don't have much patience.... My handicap is 5-6 GHIN. Getting older really stinks and my driver distance has decreased and my dispersion has increased. (mainly my aim) I'm thinking the smaller head will help increase club speed and with the low spin... this might be the ticket. Has anyone hit the GT4? Thoughts?

The 4 is the lowest spin model. As your club head speed drops as you age, your ideal spin rate may need to be higher. Your empiric choice may be counterproductive.

At the price of a new driver, I’m not taking the advice of someone that doesn’t have the equipment or experience to fit a new driver. That person being …me. If you can get to a Titleist sponsored fitting (see fittings on this website) they will match your swing, shaft, launch, speed and descent for maximal benefit. The fitting fee ($100) is applied to a purchase. Best deal on the planet.

It’s a pretty expensive experiment if you get it wrong. Seems like it would be worth the wait knowing you tried both and multiple shafts and the TrackMan data backs your decision.
