  1. Looking to replace my GW Approach wedge for distance between 95-105 yds.

What are some good options for balance on trajectory and forgiveness?

Comparing getting a GW from iron set after PW (TM 770 or new P7CB) or getting a separate wedge (48-50 degree) from other OEM (Titleist, png, New cally Opus) ?

    Thanks in advance.

If you are asking on our Titleist forum, expect the answer to be “use a Vokey”.

You are on a Titleist web site. The answer is a Vokey. There are 25 combinations of loft and grind. So that you can get fitted for your swing, speed and playing conditions. No one on any site can tell what works for you.

In general, a pure wedge is a better club for precision/feel shots than a set iron. A set iron will typically be longer for full swings. When I carry 14 clubs, I carry a set 48 degree and a 50F Vokey. The set is graphic and the Vokey is steel. I am more comfortable with the weight for partial swings.

Regardless of your irons, finding a Titleist fitter with the full fitting set of wedges done outside on real turf will best complement your bag.
