  1. So I just picked up a set of 2019 t300 irons. Didn’t need another set but was wanting to get back into Titleist and got a great deal on them. Currently I have srxn ZX5 irons and a set of PXG 0311P irons. I was down to a 15 handicap last winter but now am at a 20. How will these irons compare to my others and do you feel they will help my game? I am going in for hip replacement in a couple weeks so I may not get to try them out for a while. I like the looks of them but heard they are more for real high handicaps. Thanks for your thoughts.

  2. The T300 and currrent T350 are amazing game improvement clubs. I play them in my long irons with a combo T200 set. It is like cheating with the T300/350 irons...simply just amazing.

I feel compared to other sets in the marketplace it may not fair since they are really nice...you must have got a good deal on them!

    Good Luck Cheers!

Chris, You, Dale, Chuck And Don O are the best! You all have helped me greatly with your input and experience. Thank you. I have a fitting next week for irons. This summer has delivered many positives and closer my goal of changing entire bag to Titleist. TSR1 Driver, 3 Metal & HB 23 Degree in the bag. I'll write a new post about that for new members. Thank you all for your review (sort of) with the T-350. That will be my starting point at the fitting.

My back up set are T300 that I used until the T350’s came out. Very good irons. As for irons instantly changing anyone’s handicap by 5 points, it’s not very likely unless you are a poor iron player using blades and now eliminate the big misses. Enjoy the T300’s and lessons along with practice will take care of lowering that handicap.

The T300 clubs are for a golfer this seeking a forgiving club. I played those until the new T350s came out and I upgraded to those. I always go for a fitting when getting a set of clubs to ensure that I am getting a set that fits my game. My current handicap is at a 19 due to back issues. Have taken some time away from the game to get treatment and to work on my game. Cannot tell you how they will play compared to png or PXG. Have not played png irons in over twenty years and PXG has never interested me, even with the discount they offer veterans. It is important that you get a fitting when you are getting a new set of clubs. =)

T300 was one of the best game improvement line of irons ever released. They perform as advertised and you won't be disappointed with the results.

Frankly, I was hoping that Titleist would have kept the T300s in the line in the current form or a newer version.

Unless you are skilled at shaping shots with your current irons, there are no issues with T300 orT350. The first 2 criteria for irons are forgiveness and consistency. Fitted with the correct shaft, the launch, height, and decent angle you should get consistent results. Due to the forgiving of the series, they will promote straight results rather be easier to curve. 15-20 is a good audience for this irons

They are not a high handicap iron. They are a more forgiving iron.
  9. I used to have a set of T300 2019 was very happy with the forgiveness they gave, have since gone over too the t350 with a lighter shaft and a degree stronger and have seen an improvement of 2 shots since May 2024. I tried the T200 -T150 Combo but found I wasn't striking the ball consistent enough.
