  1. I am pretty new to golf. I inherited an old titleist driver, 3 wood, and hybrid from my great grandfather. He also had some cally clone irons. I'm looking for some affordable and forgiving titleist irons to match the driver, 3 wood, and hybrid. Any recommendations?

Look for some second-hand AP1 irons... IMO some of the best Titleist ever made. Should be able to find a set for around $200.

Sounds like you might for now, want to find some older AP1 or first generation T300 to get started. Then as you progress and “catch the bug” like the rest of us, get a proper fitting for a set that best matches your swing. Good luck!

I use to play the T300 irons before moving up to the T350 forged irons. The most forgiving in the line up. Might look for a used set of the T300 irons at a reputable Titeist account on line. Beware of ebay. You did not mention the models of the D, F and H.

AP1 irons are a good start. You may want to research what shaft would be appropriate for you.

For reference, AP1 was released in 2008. 718 AP1 was the last AP1 release in 2018. T 300 is the series that replace the AP line and had 2021 and 2023 releases. The newer the release, the higher the price.
  6. I would recommend T350 irons and GT2 driver/fairway clubs. IMHO
  7. (not sure if this is the right place for this but) I have a set of 2021 T200 irons I'm currently trying to sell. 5-pw project X 6.0 stiff shafts
  8. The T300s (2021 model) are very forgiving and there are many used options available at sites like Global Golf or 2nd Swing Golf. Depending on the condition and composition, these will range from $500 to $700. There are also a couple of sets on the Titleist website in the certified use club section. The T400s are the super-game improvement offering but these are about $800+ used.
  9. The T series are great irons, i have some T150s that I use in my longer irons and they are really good clubs
