  1. I have had my name embroidered on nearly every bag I have owned. It has always been a good experience. I found a small embroidery shop that a little old lady runs and she does it everytime. Cheap too! Never more than 15 dollars. She has done smaller carry bags to my titleist staff bag last month. Just find a reliable shop and you should be fine. However, be warned! Some others will give you a lot of grief for having your name on your bag. Just ignore them and do what you want and makes you feel good!

Totally understand about the grief. Figure that it comes with the territory, but hopefully you can play/and or bet well enough to let your game do the talking! Can you send me a picture of your bag?

I have not done anything aftermarket. I would recommend that any embroidery on Titleist or FJ products be done at the time of original purchase.

I took my lightweight carry bag to someone I knew, trusted, has been in the business a long time, and specialized in doing bags. The result was awesome.

  8. Nice name buddy!!! We were part of the Zerkle’s/zirkle’s that went north to Illinois way back. My wife and I play and have a place on HHI...I see you are in sc...maybe I can stay in touch on here and shoot a message your way when we are headed down next...possibly play a round with all Zerkle’s/Zirkle’s?! Hahaha. If not, no worries, just got a bag customized myself and that’s when I saw yours and about fell out of my chair. Hahahaha. Not too often you run across another zirkle. Glad to see all of us prefer titleist as our gamers.

Fairways and birdies to you and yours,

Captain Robert Zirkle, USN Ret, did a lot of research of the Zirkle clan and it's origin and there are there are three or four books out about our family. My family originated in the Virginia and migrated into E Tennessee.
Think most were in the mountains of Pennsylvania, Virginia and W Virginia. Think the first Z's came from Ittenbaum, Germany. The spelling could be wrong. My father, who is deceased had the books. I am sure we all came from the same DNR.
  10. I live in the atlanta area and would be willing to get my bag to the person that did yours....can you please send me their contact info??
  11. I just had that done and I’m having trouble reattaching the pocket cover any tips?

They can be a bit tricky. Make sure you start with the inside zipper and you get it seated in as far as possible.

Some local shops won't do logos because of copyright issues.
You can order directly from Titleist. You are assured that it will come out exactly as you wanted it.
Plus, if something gets screwed up, you aren't the one picking out the stitches.
  18. Let me try this again. Here is a pic of the embroidery on mine.

  19. Hi, I’m in Ireland and looking to get my club logo embroidered onto a Titleist bag. The embroidery companies say they will only do if the pocket is detachable. Does anybody know if the front pockets are detachable on the stand or hybrid bags please?

    Thanks

I do not believe they are detachable on the standbags

Conor, the only ones that I know of now that are detachable are the front panel of the Staff and Mid Staff bags. If you order it through your pro or a Titleist dealer they can embroider a lot, before they put the bag together.
  24. The new carbon bag has detachable ball pocket so it is easily removed and taken to the shop to put in whatever logo you want.

Correct, not just the Carbon but most, if not all of the current bags have the removable pocket. That said, the problem with having it done after is whether you just want your name or some copyrighted logo added. If you want a TT logo, most places will not do that without permission from Titleist. The other problem you will have will be what happens if the local embroidery shop messes it up? Titleist does not sell bag parts so you will have to get a completely new bag which the embroidery shop may, or may not cover. Just things to think about as opposed to just having Titleist do the customization.

Good observation if something goes wrong with the embroidery. You don't have recourse. Definitely should enter in to the decision you make regarding your bag. My thinking in things like this is "What is the worst thing that could happen?"

First time for me ordering a bag with my name embroidered. Will be on the ball pocket and club logo (where I work) on the apparel pocket as well. Unfortunately, this configuration will not allow the 'Titleist' script to also be on the accessory pocket. Really looking forward to the Players 4 Plus StaDry!

I have the lightweight 14 cart bag ($200) and it said in the description that it had a removable pouch for embroidery. I did not buy it direct, instead at a local shop. Now I’ve tried to remove it, couldn’t, and now I can’t get the zipper to open it back up. Did I have to order it directly from Titleist to have it done? Or any advice to get the zippers to work again, they are stuck at the bottom. Thanks for any help, and wish all a wonderful Holiday Season.

Ouch. Hopefully you figured it out. They have a slight overlap where both zippers thread at the bottom. You have to thread the inside one first and make sure you have the starter piece deeply seated, much like when starting the zipper on your jacket. That is how you completely remove and reinstall the pocket panel. Now, as for embroidery, always best to order what you want from Titleist as part of the initial purchase to ensure warranty if it gets messed up and to avoid trademark infringement if you use Titleist logos. Good luck and happy holidays too.
