How do I go about getting my bag fixed? The clip that holds the shoulder straps has broken... and now the bag is pretty useless since i hate carting...

    Help.

The round clip design has been replaced on the new models to a more traditional and durable latch. Not many options on this old style but to wire the two pieces together. Unless you recently bought this older style through a Titleist distributor, it is probably past its warranty. If recently purchased and you have the receipt, you will probably be in luck with a replacement to the current style bag. Take it to where you bought it.

I might need to watch that for a problem. I just got a new stand bag and converted the double strap to a single strap. It has the same plastic clips as Lawrence H has. While I don't often walk, and when I do I use a pull cart, I converted my new bag simply because I've always hated how the double strap get in the way when I want to get to a pocket. It's practically impossible to find a single strap carry bag anymore.

Since I only tend to carry my bag from the parking lot to the clubhouse and then to put it on a cart, maybe i should just remove the strap altogether and use the handle to carry it.

While there have been a few failures noted, most have proven to be pretty durable. I carried my 2017 Players 4 with the round clips for two seasons and walked 9 holes about 300 times in those two years. I probably only disconnected them a dozen times or less so the plastic clips didn't get too much lateral stress. I also kept the bag in a place where extreme heat and sunlight would not weaken the plastic when not on the course. I would say most people shouldn't worry about using the bag as it is intended to be used.
  5. I just had the same problem while playing. Anyone find a way to fix the problem?

Time for a new bag or cut out the plastic clip and use a metal ring or carabiner.
