I recently purchased a new Titleist Midsize Staff Bag. It has some great features that I like but there are two things I believe should be considered for future models. One is the carry handle at the bottom that facilitates lifting from an auto trunk. My prior year version (2015) of the same bag had a strap at the bottom which allowed me to use my entire hand to grip the bag when removing from the auto truck which was more secure. The new version(2019) has a slot-like design which only allows my fingers tips for gripping. This type does not foster a secure grip thus increasing the possibility for slipping and damage to the base on a hard surface. Suggest the prior year version with the strap be considered for future models.
The other feature for modification is the top cuff design. The new version is sort of egg shape in design thus making the two slots located where the shoulder strap attaches to the bag , smaller. I arrange my driver and putter(Scotty Cameron) in one compartment and the two Fairway clubs in the other. With headcover on the putter plus headcover on the driver the putter will not fit all the way down unless I tuck the headcover inside. This also hinders removal of the driver from the bag when necessary. The prior year version of the Midsize staff bag was more circular in design which resulted in a larger area for the clubs. I would suggest consideration be given for future models to use a more circular design for the top cuff.
