Sunday Bag?

    Does anyone use one of the Sunday bags? I haven't heard anything about them. My current bag(non titleist, forgive me for I have sinned) is not great for carrying to me. Works fine on a cart, but i like to walk so I could use some assistance. Thanks.

    Sunday bag is ideal for Par 3 courses where you would just carry half your clubs. It can be a bit tight for 14 clubs and doesn't have the legs as on typical stand bags so you have to be putting it down on the ground. If you are okay with that, its a great bag. I use the Players 4 which is still very light but gives me a few more pockets and has the full length legs. You should be able to go into a major golf retail store and find both to compare in person.

    Use on Par-3 courses or on short game practice sessions.. Plenty of Scotty Cameron, Vokey and Titleist Sunday bags on Ebay and Facebook groups. Some of the Japan Titleist Sunday bags have legs, just gotta look a little harder.

    I often use a Sunday bag if playing a quick nine holes. Just perfect for a half set, and nice and light with plenty of pocket space.
    Also great for taking a few clubs to the practice ground.

    I have ap1's but they bottom out in this bag but on grass I have no worries.

    I find the Titleist double/single strap idea is a little naff though as it's always popping out to single strap.

    I decided to put the other strap over the slotted strap to keep it from slipping out. I realise this wouldn't be good if you wanted to single.

    I had a single strap Sunday bag before and it was starting to wind me up and hurt my shoulder.

    I have driver, fairway, hybrid, 5, 7, 9, PW and a 54.

    Does it fold up so that it can be put in a suitcase? I'm going to N. Ireland and Scotland and thought of putting half-set of clubs in a hard plastic case and transferring to this bag when playing. I just can't stand the thought of paying over $500 to shipsticks; I'm not that good that I just have to have all 14 clubs anyway.

    I have last year's double strap version and I cut out the fiberglass spine so it now collapses into my suitcase. Works great. Took it on a business trip to London where we had a few extra days to jump over to St. Andrews. Just rented clubs there and used my bag. I hate using rentals but taking clubs for multiple cities and mostly business didn't make sense for this trip.

    The double strap bag can be converted to single strap, just like the other bags. Best of both worlds.

    Get a sweet Mackenzie bag and have them put your home course's logo on it. (Don't worry, outside of Mackenzie my two other bags are Titleist Players 4 and Titelist Tour bag.)

    Any one know if the 2021 premium sunday bag has a spine? I know the standard one does, but not sure about the premium?

    BK, i would be surprised if it didn't. I cut mine out of the standard sunday bag so that I could pack it in a suitcase. I had a work trip and didnt want to take clubs so ended up getting rentals but took the bag and putter so I could walk the course. Maybe check out the big-box stores for one you can inspect. They should have some in stock by now.

    I've seen a HUGE movement to Sunday bags but not how I expected it. We have a lot of female players with private carts that keep a couple wedges/putter in it for when they miss the green and need options but don't want to pull clubs every time (and lay grips on dewy ground), rather they just take their Sunday bag.

    I have one and use it regularly for the range. Also often play frequently with only 7 or 8 clubs and the Sunday bag is the perfect size to walk/carry. I have a 2 year old model and it lacks a spine. This is the only negative in an otherwise well constructed, featured bag.

    I have the Premium Sunday Bag and I don’t have any issues carrying a full set. I mainly use it for afternoon rounds as I don’t like laying my clubs on the dew-soaked ground. It’s a nice bag.
