In Ohio we are at the mercy of the elements, if the ground is frozen and its above 45, we throw the cart cover on and scratch that itch and play some golf.
  4. I picked up a snood (neck warmer) as well. I have many for skiing and hunting, but wanted on specifically for gold. It's amazing how much warmer you are with one.

May have to try the snood. I have the beanie, used it for years, it's great. One other accessory I swear by for cold days, is the FJ lined sweater. I'm of the opinion if you feel cold wearing one of those, it's too cold to play.

Hey Keith, just took your advice and ordered the FJ lined sweater. Just booked a golf package at the Ocean Course at Kiawah in January and this will be the first item I pack!

I don't like my swing to be restricted with layers of clothing so I play in a base layer, polo shirt, windproof/waterproof vest, some thermal long johns and my Titleist pom pom hat.

Really like the idea of the snood though so I'll hopefully get one of those soon.

Gonna have to put them to the test as the weather turns ugly and cold up here in the northern parts of the US. Sad times...
  9. Might have to give that snood a try, looks warm

I admire you guys. I just can't handle the cold. It has to be 50 degrees, no wind and preferably sun.

The Titleist gear is outstanding. The pom pom hat, snood and mitts have caught my eye. Thanks for sharing your opinions.
  13. Just bought a few titleist Pom Pom hats from my home course. Titleist makes the best gear in the industry without a doubt. Thanks titleist for all you do!

I have a Titleist pom hat. But the thing I love most are the Titleist mitts. Unbelievably warm! I also try to layer with a mock turtleneck and a pullover sweater. Anything other than that restricts my swing.
  15. Those snoods are life savers

    Good evening all,

Can anybody recommend the warmest Footjoy jacket? Everything on the website seems to be a rain jacket to me. I am looking more for warmth and water repellant is secondary.

The lined sweater is a great piece for warmth. I typically wear mine in the late fall and early spring rounds in northern Wisconsin. Generally just wear it with a polo in temperatures in the mid 40's and am plenty warm.

Just ordered the black and red beanie and hand warmer. Eyeing up the cart gloves. Does anybody have experience with them?
  21. I love my cart mitts!! Early spring, rain and late fall golf in MI they are a must have. I've had guys laugh at me for having them, but at the end of the round my hands are warm!

You can even put hand warmers in them if you need too. I just leave my glove on my hand and then put the mitts over it. Plenty of room.

Just packed all my cold weather and rain gear for our annual winter pilgrimage to Bandon Oregon. Cold rain in the forecast for 3 of the 4 days. Helps me appreciate my life in San Diego.
