FJ have two pairs of winter gloves available, the WinterSof @ £25 and the StaSof Winter @ £55.

Does anyone use these during the winter and how do you rate their grip and warmth? The StaSof Winter looks top quality hence the price but can they last a couple of seasons?

I have the wintersoft pair that I bought last January and they’re practically new still. They’re made of a like a suede cloth material so they don’t seem to wear and tear as fast a leather gloves.

One huge perk I like about them is down here in west Texas temperatures can get up to 110°. I’d sometimes just use the right glove and I’d get more grip when my hands got sweaty or wet.

My buddy bought the wintergrip and there was little difference in the texture.

The new StaSof for winter is a great glove. I also have the WinterSof gloves, which are also good, but the StaSof feels more like wearing a golf glove in my opinion. Frankly, I have not noticed any negatives with either. If I had to choose, and money was no object, I would go StaSof Winter, purely for the better feel. If you play in temps below 40 degrees as I do when I have no choice, a pair of Titleist or FJ Cart Mitts isn't a bad idea for between shots.

Thanks for the opinions, the StaSof winter definitely appeal as they look like they fit more closely to a standard leather glove.

Both look warm and grippy but my main requirement is for the glove to be as close fitting and similar in profile to my Titleist Players Flex glove.

I have some Titleist mitts which are great for in between holes and on the tee so hopefully these will do the job in between.
