I have the older rain hood towel and my father loves that I can just throw it on and off in inclement weather. I wanted to order it for him for Christmas and saw the new Stadry Performance Towel so ordered it. It seemed great that but when it came it was cloth on the outside and microfiber on the inside. My question is for any that have knowledge or use it...does it stay dry underneath or just get wet and heavy due to the cloth outside? I want to make sure before I give it to him as a gift and doesn’t do what he would want it to do. Appreciate any input, thanks.
