    Howdy,

I've got a Players 4 StaDray I picked up just over a year ago and need some help tracking down a pesky screw.

One of the screws that attaches the leg to the upper frame of the bag fell off recently and I can't seem to track down a replacement. Would hate to replace the bag outright, as I haven't even had it for a season and a half.

    Any ideas?

I’ve had the same problem with a few bags in the past. The best solution is to take the bag to a hardware store — the old-fashioned kind that actually sells individual screws and other fasteners. You’ll find one for sure. If you can’t find the exact match, a knowledgeable salesman will be able to help find an alternate solution.
  3. If me I’d take the other screw out and head to Home Depot to match if possible. Quick and easy hopefully! Best of luck.
  4. It is ridiculous that Titleist does not supply these screws. I had the same thing happen and my golf bag after about 6 months. The golf pro at my club says it happens all the time in these Titleist bags.

It's absurd to pay more than $200 for a golf bag and the manufacturer not even make replacement screws available. They should be glad to mail replacements.

I guess I'll had to the hardware store and think of this the next time I buy a bag.
  5. I ve just got a same issue. It has 4mm hole and 31mm wall to wall.
    I will try m4 x 35mm screw w/self lock nut.
  6. Hey mate, I also have the same issue, did these dimensions work?

Did this work out for you? My leg fell
    off yesterday.
  8. It did work well. I also emailed Titleist UK contact and they send me a pair of screws as well.

Years and years of multiple stand bags and frequent walking and never had this issue. That said, I probably will occasionally check to make sure they are not getting loose just like I occasionally check the tightness on my adjustable clubs after watching JT do it per-round on TV. If I catch one getting loose, it should be way before one could completely fall out. I might even get some "Loctite" thread locker to apply just to be safe.
  10. Same thing happened to me…

Add my Titleist bag to this list. I am sure I can find screws at the local hardware store. But self-repair begs a larger question: Since this happens rather frequently, I suggest that Titleist engineers device a more permanent solution. Legs should detach like this with multi-hundred dollar bags. I am suggesting the engineers find a better design.
