I've recently been looking into the SuperSpeed Swing Sticks and am wondering if they are worth it and how much increase players truly see. Who better to shed light on this than my fellow Titleist golfers. Let me know your thoughts on if they are worth it. How much swing speed / distance did you gain? Positives and Negatives to using them? They are not crazy pricey but it's still $200.

Absolutely get them! I have definitely seen an increase in swing speed while using them. Only negative is that you have to remain consistent with the training protocols to see results. If you take time off from using them, you speed will start to revert back. I can’t give you exact numbers. I have a bad back so when I’m feeling good, I can train with them. When the back is not feeling great, I have to skip my training protocols. So I feel like my swing speed fluctuates based on how much I am able to train with them. I wish I had these when I was young and healthy, lol

P.S- I love the orange whip as well. I swing that daily

Thanks, David. Definitely leaning towards getting them. Do you have the speed reading device? I have a SkyTrak and am wondering if that will read it?

I do have the speed reading device, but I do not find it to be very accurate. The numbers are all over the place. I am sure the SkyTrak is way more accurate. The new PGR ones seems alot better and i have been looking into getting one of those. I just wish I had taller ceilings in my house because I would love to get a SkyTrak!
  5. I have been curious as well, especially right now in Michigan getting bored, but I have been looking on eBay there is a company called Detroit golf co that makes a similar design for 130s. Could always turn it into a diy thing the drills are accessible via the website. If you purchase them how crucial is the monitor for swing speed? Now it’s more like a 400-450 investment.

I absolutely recommend doing it. But the truth is you have to remain committed to the training. Its not something you can just do a couple times and think you'll gain 5-10 mph club head speed. If you commit an stay dedicated they 100% work. The cost is on the high end, especially if you get the device. There are many instances of people out there who made their own pretty simply (i am one of those people!)

I've been using a set for two months now. I started between 98mph and 102mph. I am now hitting 108mph consistently on the Trackman 4 at my local golf shop. I think I could get more out of them but I'm not terribly consistent with the protocols.

Great to see that improvement! I am still debating. I have some lessons set-up for late February so I am thinking I am going to wait until I have my lessons and then purchase & start the SpeedSticks. But that could change after a couple drinks one night and an impromptu amazon purchase!

looks promising but also can be a back injury waiting to happen if not done correctly.
  10. I received mine 3 days ago.

I ordered mine with the PRGR red eyes pocket.
I have the mevo and mevo + but both does not measure swing speed without hitting a ball.
I think the PRGR is really useful because it is hard to know that your swing is faster than the last swing without it. I thought I swung harder but the reading tells me I’m am not swinging harder.

And I like the PRGR better than the mevo because it is easy to use - no need to connect to the phone for reading. The mevo+ is another animal so can’t compare with PRGR.

Used superspeed sticks twice already and I think it is good but too early to see improvements. I warm up with 7 iron, then do the protocol and then go back to hitting 7 iron and I find that my swing speed goes up by 1 or 2 mph immediately after the protocol.

Later in the day I hit the 7 iron again and my swing speed is back to normal. But I guess it will be 4 to 6 weeks before I can make any increase stick.
