Is it just me, or are these new shoes absolutely sick? I like them both, but prefer the non-BOA.

Checked out the Hyperflex. Not for me, but if you like that kind of modern look, I can see why you like them so much. At least they have spikes. I'm not a fan of spikeless golf shoes, though I do have one pair of navy Furys with lime green from 2020 I bought specifically to go with a bunch of FJ shirts I also bought last spring with the same colors. I've worn them maybe 3 or 4 times.

I just ordered a pair of the new Premieres in the white w/white croc Packard model. Once they are paid for, I have a pair of the new Tarlow Premieres planned, with the navy croc pattern. Both of these are beautiful, IMO. Very classic. JTs been sporting the Packard Premiere lately.

Being a traditionalist when it comes to golf shoes, both of the FJ Premiere models will be welcome additions now that I can no longer get DryJoys Tour models (discontinued for 2021). However, I recently picked up two pairs of DryJoys Tour custom MyJoys, both of which I've posted pictures of already a week or so ago in another thread here.

FJ makes a lot of lines for all tastes, traditional and more progressive. I have a number of the traditional ( MyJoy DryJoy Tours, ICONS) and will be getting the new white Premiere #53908, but I also have flex (grey, navy, black) and flex xp (bright blue) shoes. They are so comfortable and versatile. Being spikeless does not affect their playability nor grip. I also play in Club Professionals with no issues. That is one of the reasons I enjoy FootJoy shoes, variety for everyone. Even the older generation like myself. Even at 74+ I like to broaden my selection of shoes. With respect to all.

I have used the Hyperflex Boa's this past week couple practices and one round walking. They are the most comfortable golf shoes I have ever worn, it feels like i'm wearing another sock, If you walk these are going to be the greatest shoes you have ever owned. The traction is great, and the BOA really makes you feel locked in. Plus the red/grey colorway looks amazing.

My only real fear is how i'm going to keep them clean. They are for sure a fair weather shoe.
  12. Just ordered my BOA’s, will report back. I love the clean look, two year waterproof warranty and the spikes for early morning winter rounds in Southern California! Lots of dew and frost delays at my home course.

Is there any chance we'll see a hyperflex SL? These look incredible. An SL would just be the icing on the cake.

They make four styles of the Flex shoes, which is their athletic line of golf shoes; FJ Flex Coastal, FJ Flex, FJ Flex XP, and HyperFlex. Personally I think that is a rather good selection in that line. In the Pro/SLs they have a great compliment with the regular stable Pro/SL and the Pro/SL Carbon. These are two completely different types of shoes.

NOTE: Actually the footjoy.com site is a great place to discuss FJ products, also, with other loyalists, such as yourselves and a number of FJ Ambassadors, who are also TT members and are very active on this site. We would appreciate your comments and input. With respect. CZ, longtime FJA.

Got them in. Amazing! So comfortable. Sadly, I can't test on the course because we have snow covered grounds.

I have a pair of Tour S and Flex but would love some of these. I wish Footjoy would expand their off the course shoe line and make something like this in a traditional shoe. I would definitely rock some FJs off the course!

I totally agree the hyperflex is a perfect shoe for somebody who walks the course and wants more grip than the spikeless shoes provide. The hyperflex is a shoe that is totally perfect for a high school golfer.
  21. Love this shoe. Have worn the BOA now for 36 holes. My one complaint, is I wish that they would offer a black sole/footbed as I find myself having to wipe down the sides and toes of the shoes with a magic sponge to get rid of the grass stains that end up on the white. A black sole would look great on the grey/black/white pair I purchased and rid me of bringing them home from the club to clean.

Listentomewhine. The Black BOAs come with a black sole and it is a proven combination. And for an off course traditional look (Mitch B) you might consider the Club Casuals.
  23. Yeah, I get that, but prefer the lighter version as spring hits and shorts will be appropriate. I am always of the thought that lighter colors go best with shorts, and the darker versions with trousers. Maybe they will become popular enough to allow customizations! It’s a darn comfy shoe, I feel grounded and dialed in. (BOA pun, get it?). I may order a laced version to compare.

    Cheers to all!

I do like the looks of the Hyperflex shoes. The only debate for me now is BOA or laces.

Does anyone have suggestions on which way to go? I have never had a shoe with the BOA system.

You might not go back to laces. =) Love mine.

I got the BOA system, and first time using it. It’s fantastic, the shoes fit like a glove, very secure and comfortable. I think you will like the BOA system.
  28. Picked up a pair two weekends ago when I got to the course and realized I left my golf shoes at home. Out of the box they were super comfortable. The upper is soft and surprisingly waterproof. Not as much support as my other shoes, and as a walker who needs more support, I've added an othrodic insole.
  29. The Hyperflex caught my eye and after doing some research (including reviewing this thread) I was ready to give them a try. Just before pressing the 'Buy' button, I read a few more reviews from an online retailers site and came across a comment that is giving me second thoughts. I'm hoping someone here can help.

The review that is a concern to me described a problem with the Hyperflex rubbing the heal and causing blisters. This is a problem I've had in the past and want to avoid if possible. I understand any shoe could not be the right fit for a given foot, but I wanted to see if anyone here has experienced this problem with the Hyperflex.

I'd appreciate your comments so I can resole this in my mind.
    Thanks,
    Bryan
  30. I have not experienced any issues with them.

No worries here. You might address this question to footjoy.com, which is the FootJoy site. This site is for Titleist questions. With respect. Easy to get the two confused.
