80% of my present golf wardrobe is Footjoy. I probably have about 60 FJ shirts, 20 pairs of FJ shoes, 15 or 20 pullovers and vests, jackets, wind gear, rain gear, pants, all FJ, but only 2 pairs of their shorts. And that is specifically due to the reason you mention, they are just too short in my opinion. I love everything else from Footjoy. Just not their shorts. :-(

I have found Adidas Ultimate 365 shorts to be excellent. I have about a dozen pairs in various colors. Check them out. The length is great.

Another option is to take a pair of your FJ pants to a tailor and have them hemmed to the length you want.

Dale beat me to it or Tommy Bahama silk short are the most comfy short I've ever worn and work best in hot weather!

I am happy with the shorts because of their fit. When you are a big guy, good fitting shorts are hard to find and I hate shorts that hug the knees. I have every color available in plain front, two pair of the lightweight and pleated in size 42. No worries.

Their new stretch woven shorts that will be available June 15 have a 10" inseam and will be available in three colors; heather French blue, mint and heather merlot.

FJ Lifestyle shorts come in three colors; stone, stone wash and dusty lilac and have a 10" inseam. The Lifestyle shorts were available January 10, 2021.
