    Hi, I was wondering if anyone could comment on their experience with the "Tour-inspired" rain hood of this model in regards to any advantage it may have over other rain hoods they have had in the past. My experience is that rain hoods are typically (for me) just too confining especially with the (mostly) bulky headcovers of today. Any other general comments on this bag are appreciated. Thanks.

    Sure Joseph. The first time I used mine was at Bandon and I was worried about the opposite. It looked too big and bulky but in using it, it worked just fine. It was windy too but as long as I used the velcro closure strip, it did not blow open. It was also a little quicker and easier to put on and take off.

    Dale, thanks very much- sounds like an improvement on others I have experienced.

    I had a similar experience as Dale's. It does help keep things somewhat dry but it's not waterproof. The last year, I went away from using the hood that came with the bag and replaced it with the Titleist Dri Hood towel; I find that option to be much better for me.
