I am down to my last pair of Icon Blacks, so I had to order a backup pair of Premier Series Tarlows. I will miss the Icon’s, but at least these are Penn State colors…. Anybody try these out yet?

Did you go for the White or the White and Navy?

They are very professional and comfortable in the dry weather, I prefer a Pro SL for Winter types of conditions!

I have a pair of the Premier Series Pickard’s. They are very comfortable and great to walk in

I have two pairs of Premieres. Just like DryJoys, which personally, I liked more than Icons, only even a touch classier IMO. They don't appear to be, but are quite lightweight. I had one of those pairs customized MyJoys.

Attached this Instagram post/image of my Tarlows to my earlier post, but for whatever reason, it didn't show up. I'm trying again here. If it doesn't show up this time, it's a Titleist website issue.

Once the ProSL came out I migrated there and away from the Icon Black. Fortunately, I keep the Icons in shoe bags and they still look darn good.

Will be following this though because I am interested in hearing feedback on the Tarlows.

I went for the blue and white. They are a little more flashy than my typical all white or all black options I typically get, but I will give it a try. Glad to hear they are comfortable in the summer time because I rarely play when it is cold out.

Got the white Packard shoes when the first hit the market. Classics on air. Also picked up the navy/white Traditions. Both awesome shoes. See a lot of the premieres on tour this year. FJ doing it right.

How are you liking the Tarlows? I've taken a fancy in the white/blue wingtips but haven't found a shop to try them on in my size, 12, so will likely have to order. Did yours fit true to size? Thanks in advance

Well my above post can be disregarded. My Pro Shop had the Packards available in my size so I grabbed those instead. Thanks

I have worn FJs since the 80s and have found them to be true to size, that is if you have worn FJs before. I always order 12W in any of their styles. The new premieres are very lightweight and are a good fitting shoes. I do a number of fittings at golf events during the year. Sometimes different brands differ. I have a number of various styles in my rotation including the newer styles: Premieres, Traditions, Pro/SLs, Hyper Flex XP, Hyper Flex, MyJoy Icons, Tour S, MyJoy DryJoy Tour, Tour S, Hyper, Club Casuals, Shop Pros, and they all are 12 Wide. Questions regarding FJ products can always be referred to www.footjoy.com. They have a chat line available.

Thanks Chuck, yes I agree that they normally run true to size. I had a slight issue with the original version of the Pro SL as I wear a 12 but that version seemed to run just a slight bit big, at least the pair I had. Ultimately had to return them because the sole peeled away after one round. The next pair came back and fit better. Only issue I have ever had with FJ shoes.

I've been wearing them since the 80s with the FJ Classics, then went migrated to various other versions. Nowadays I have a rotation of 2 pairs Pro SL, Icon Black and now the Packards.

I had a pair of the very first prototype Pro/SLs (believe it was 2014) before they were called that. My neighbor is still wearing them. They have held up. FootJoy stands behind their shoes with their two year warranty. As an Ambassador we use to get a pair once in a while to test and review.

Switching to Premiers from Pro SL's. FJ really pared down the Pro SL style choices for '22. Premiers give you the best of all worlds. Fit, style, comfort and support.

I just picked up a pair of the Premiere Series Packard … FANTASTIC!!! Very, very stylish and very, very lightweight! You won’t be disappointed.
  17. I purchased 3 pair last year, 2 packard and 1 tarlow. All very comfortable. As a Footjoy loyalist, I wish they would still offer the Icon as a custom option in myjoy as well. All in all, excellent shoes.
