  1. I've always been guilty of swinging over the top. It can and does have a really negative impact on a lot of amateurs golf games.

I feeling I need to make a change so here it is:

    The Speed Trap 2.0

Tried it for the first time, Sunday at the range.

Was actually really surprised I didn't hit the uprights once but I still was managing to hit a baby fade.

I think I might need to reduce the gates to really unlock the potential of the swing path trainer.

I looked at those a couple years ago but never pulled the trigger. Keep us updated as to how it works for you as I have a tendency to swing out to in especially later in a round.

I am a big proponent of swing aids as I have several items which help my swing. I firmly believe just going to the range and hitting balls is not going to get it done. You have to practice correctly with repetition. Swing aids can sometimes get you there. One of my swing aids I used was a SKLZ Smart Glove. I had a problem of cupping my wrists on the backswing. Plus, an over the top swing did not help I used the Smart Glove to correct the wrist problem and it helped greatly.

People ask me how my golf game is and I always tell them "It's a work in progress." I enjoy every minute of working on it. Another thing I think everyone should do is have a trusted teacher look at your swing every now and then. All of us have a tendency to fall into bad habits.

Good luck Alex on your swing!!
