Congratulations to all those TT members who were fortunate enough to receive the much sought after TT bag tags this year.

Here's a tip on how to keep yours as there's been a few cases where TT member have had them stolen from their bags. I use some heat shrink tubing over the clasp of mine, (you can buy it on eBay or other places it's not expensive) You can find the size that slips over an covers the clasp and then apply a heat source, paint stripping gun, soldering iron or hair dryer. When you do this the tubing shrinks and hardens which makes it a lot harder to remove.

I like the idea. I will try it out.

    Thanks David

Thanks, great tip! I’ve had two tags “borrowed” from my bag. Hopefully, this will end the “borrowing” in the future!

Sadly, I did receive a TT bag tag. I hope I do get one in the near future :)

Sounds like a good idea. If I get a TT bag tag I'll be sure to do that.

What's the deal with people stealing these from people's bags?!?! It doesn't seem like something a respectable golf would do, there's too much honor in the game. Must be a hacker! Great idea David, I will do this if I ever get one in the mail.

Great idea, it's sad we have to resort to this. Over the last few years, my bag never leaves my sight, If I set it down and won't be able to see it, I will go in and pay and ask my son or playing partner to watch it, then do the same for them while they pay.

Great idea! Heading to Florida this spring and will follow your tip. Would hate to lose my TT tag.

  9. My boyfriends tag was stolen yesterday. He is so upset. There's no way it could have just fallen off. I am trying to find him a replacement if anyone has ideas.

Best advice is to have the TT logo embroidered onto the next bag he orders from Titleist. Removable tags are a prized position so you run the risk of them "disappearing" if you leave your bag unattended, especially around a public muni course.
