I'm on the look out for a new travel cover to replace my older one. Does anyone have the Titleist PLAYERS TRAVEL COVER that can share their opinion of it please

Okay, so I have everything Titleist makes. I’m not exactly proud of it… their padded soft case is lovely. But, I always take my SKB hard case if I’m flying. Way more secure! Also drop a Apple AirTag in there to track your clubs! (I assume everyone smart enough to buy Titleist, is smart enough to by Apple… shots fired!)
  3. Great tip on the Apple Air Tag!!

Thanks for the reply. I'm still unsure on the Titleist travel cover or the Club Glove Last Bag Collegiate as i've read a lot of good reviews on Club Glove

Great tip with the Apple AirTag, thank you

I have a Club Glove collegiate travel bag and I really like it! The one gripe I have is it shows dirt quickly. Now - I have the light grey color and I'm sure it's because of the airlines and their handling of them... but it looks used. I've had it for almost 7 years and the zippers are good, there aren't any holes and if you have a stand bag, it's the perfect size (even with two pairs of shoes). I saw someone else reply to get a stiff arm - absolutely do that too!

I would also recommend the club glove with a stiff arm. Really great, durable material. I guess there is a reason that most tour pros are using the club glove when they are not getting paid to.

P.S- I also keep an Apple AirTag in my stand bag at all times. I play a lot of public courses and if someone ever tries to snatch my bag…I’m showing up at their house, lol

I have had a SKB hard case over twenty years and the only case I will put my Titleist equipment in when traveling by air. Parts have been broken on the case and their customer service has replaced the parts. The case has held up to the roughest air handlers all over the world. I have the smaller case and it meets the dimensions to qualify for Deltas checked luggage. I pack a Titleist lightweight bag in it which give me room for shoes and a few other items and meets the weight limit.

I would recommend going with the Club Glove with the stiff arm. I think right now there is a promotion of a free stiff arm with the purchase of a Club Glove travel bag.

Sadly as I'm in the UK, stock is very low and the only Club Glove I can find is the Collegiate bag and this is not suitable for a cart bag so I'm back looking at the Titleist Players Travel Bag

I have a Players Travel Bag/Cover, and I honestly love it! I was a little skeptical when buying with the thought in my head just annoying me with having had bought a hard case. But to be honest I have had it for 4 years, shows minor wear and tear and I only fly southwest which doesn’t mean they are any better then the other but I haven’t had any problems with damage inside or out. Though I usually remove my driver and metal heads from shafts to possibly avoid snapping one. The is a great amount of padding for club heads as I will add my extra layer to help insult or protect with towels and such. I haven’t been disappointed, the bag is styling on two wheels going through airports! I’ve got plenty of compliments on it! Titleist, it’s golfs symbol of excellence! There’s my input for ya for the Team! And have fun this year too, stripe the V with the Big D!

I've purchased the Titleist Players Travel Cover and should receive it in the next few days. I have also purchased the Club Glove Stiff Arm, just the Apple Air Tag to purchase and that's me sorted

Great and many go with the soft covers including most pros. Just make sure you know your airline's damage coverage policy as some will not cover damage to clubs or bags using soft covers. You may want to get supplemental insurance coverage depending on which airlines you use and the overall value of your sticks. Cheers.

SKB hard case is the best option. Soft case is lighter and convenient, and you can get the insurance to cover the damage, but it doesn't help when you're at your destination with damaged or missing clubs.
When we travel I'm the only one with the SKB case and I get chastised over it all the time, but when we reach our destination and I unpack the clubs I load it with ice and beer, and then I'm the hero.
The Apple Air Tag is a great idea, especially if it's loaded with beer.

Like others, have the club glove with the Titleist logo. Use the stiff arm. The bag is about 7 years old and has been to GB and Ireland as well as many US states. Can’t avoid the dirt, but there is no obvious wear and tear. As my other travel gear has worn out over time, I have replaced it with Titleist luggage. May well be the last luggage I buy.

Twice I have been on flights with Jerry Kelly. The Titleist logo clarified which identical bag was mine. Apparently his sponsor doesn’t offer a logo bag.

Good point, I tell people to get different color CG covers to make the ID simpler at baggage claim or add the 550 cord zipper pulls from Amazon. You'd be surprised to see people just grabbing the bags and just walking off.

I just bought a Club Glider from Sun Mountain, and it is as good as the Club Glove :)

My clubs just retuned yesterday from AZ in the Collegiate Club Glove soft bag. I was sitting in my office when I heard a loud thud. I looked out the window and the delivery man had thrown my clubs up onto my front porch. I can only imagine how the rest of the trip went, but my clubs were in perfect shape. Highly recommended…
