  1. I received a Titleist StaDry Performance Towel as a gift. I like the towel a lot. It is nice and big and appears to be high quality construction.

I had previously used a Frogger towel, which also had a membrane between the layers, but was falling apart. With the Frogger, you were supposed to wet the inside and the outside was kept dry, to dry the clubs after you cleaned them. On the Titleist website, it mentions that the StaDry has a membrane to keep the inside dry. My question is, if you have one of these StaDry Performance Towels, which side do you get wet and which side do you keep dry? It seems to me like the inside should be wet and the outside dry, but maybe I'm not thinking about it properly.

I'm curious to hear responses as I have had limited luck finding anything on the internet and they were a mixed bag. Most that stated the inside remains dry appear to have simply copied exactly what the Titleist website says. Some other reviews mention getting the inside wet and keeping the outside dry.

if it's a hot day with no precipitation, i wet the inside and keep the outside dry. this way the inside stays wet for the whole round

if it's a rainy day, i wet the outside and keep the inside dry. this way the inside stays dry for the whole round.

it's the best towel i've ever had, even when it's very hot outside and dry as a bone, the inside stays wet for my whole round, allowing me to wipe off my clubs after every shot and clean my ball before i putt. i'll never use anything else.

Yes, the interior portion is designed to keep things dry. The towel can double up as a cover for your clubs during light precipitation like a rain hood. If you wet the interior, then that would defeat the purpose of using it to keep your clubs dry. You could probably use it any way you see fit since the membrane is just a barrier between wet and dry surfaces; you choose which is which.

Ha, I have to start using this thing. I have a couple of microfiber towels that I use on the course and have really only use the performance towel to clean my clubs after the round. Sounds like it is very multi-purpose!
