    Hi TT

Just wondering if anyone can point me to the best carry bag for 9 holes that’s not to heavy to carry but has some more storage then a Sunday bag. I’ve found it hard to get the best all rounder. Thanks for your help

Of course, many people with have their own personal favorites but for me, the Players 4 Carbon works well. I usually just carry 12 clubs and minimal gear but the large side pocket will hold a rain jacket or sweater if needed. It's the lightest of the regular stand bags and I personally prefer the carbon legs over the aluminum ones of the other bags as they do not get bent if hit during travel or by any other accident. I have added "gator feet" to the bottom of the legs to keep them from sinking into soft ground. Find a local retailer and check out the bag. It might be just what you need.

Yes Chuck. Look them up on line. They are rubber pads that slip onto the bottom of the legs. Most stand bags have something similar already but the Players 4 Carbon legs only have a small cap. They will dig into mud, sand, or soft dirt. Gator Feet pads will keep that from happening. gatorfeet.com/products.html

Here's a link to the product Dale V. is talking about. I for one use Gator Feet per Dale's suggestion and they are great. I play golf in a part of the country where year-round golf is possible but winter wet weather can make parts of the course muddy. The Gator Feet accessory does a great job keeping the stand bag legs from digging into the soft turf. Highly recommended.
  6. The Titleist Carbon is my preference .... IMHO

The Players 4 Carbon is the lightest carry bag in the Titleist lineup that is designed to hold 14 clubs and other gear. I have the Carbon and it's a great bag. I generally walk and carry at my home club and using the Carbon and it makes for an easy round. On a side note, there is also a Carbon-S; here is decription on the bag from the Titleist website:

"With a slightly shorter height and a premium double strap with narrower, smaller pads, the Players 4 Carbon-S Stand Bag is strategically sized to meet the needs of golfers with smaller frames and shorter clubs."

I have the Players 4Plus and it's been a great bag so far! I have traveled to Scotland and England with it and zero performance issues.
  9. I like the Titleist pencil carry premium. Even tho you want more space I think it fits all I need for a round of golf. And those small legs keeps the club heads from the ground.

Just my opinion. But on the other hand, I haven’t tried the carbon carry bag. I haven’t seen it it Sweden….

On the subject of carry bags, I'm a Sunday bag guy. My wish is for Titleist to offer a choice of a single strap as well as the dual strap currently being offered. In the past they did. It was possible to have a choice of which to use. The reason is it gives the player the ability to use both shoulders and arms. Even if you golf is off you get great exercise during the round!

Titleist does offer the Links Legends bags. The Member bag has both dual and single strap options. The straps can be switched easily via latch clips. The other version, Caddie Bag, is a single strap design.

I also endorse the carbon bags. I carry/walk on weekdays with eleven clubs. On weekends, ride a cart with fourteen. The only downside is if you have some larger-than-standard grips (which i do). Everything fits, but getting all in can be a challenge.
