I have a problem, I bought a T200 Iron 3 (Graphite Design Shaft) and my bag is "eating" my shaft. Anyone else having problems with the bag breaking your clubs?

The plastic handles (see picture) cause the shaft to rest against all the time and rub on the shaft. I noticed it now and the orange color on the shaft is gone and it has rubbed down into the plastic. Anyone else noticed this? What does Titleist say about this? Can you get a new shaft? I have now been forced to put plastic tape around the shaft to prevent the rubbing.

I have same bag with no issues. Are you saying it breaks clubs in normal use? Only issue where a had breakage is when I got mad and threw my club towards my bag and then broke clubs when it hit. LOL..

Be careful with having graphite shafts in the bag holes left and right where the plastic handle is. :)

It doesn’t sound like your club is actually ‘broken’ due to bag ‘chatter.’ While the wear to the base graphite (the orange is just a paint layer) will not hinder performance, I understand how aggravating it can be. I’ve had similar issues and it can be fixed (carefully) with touch up paint. Try to match the color to model paint or sharpie from a craft store. It won’t be perfect, but you can get close. When you have the color right, give the area a light spray with clear acrylic (satin or matte matches most shaft finishes. When you’re at the craft store, buy some craft felt or craft foam with an adhesive backing and cover the shaft contact area of the plastic on the bag collar.
