  1. Hello I bought a Stadry 15 Cart Bag around 15 months ago. Disappointing it has a huge detached seam which pretty much makes it useless. I contacted Customer Services to express my disappointment at such a premature and significant failure along with a photo of the failure. I received a reply which unsurprisingly stated it was outside warranty so no replacement or repair could be offered. Was I just unlucky? The reply assured me that the product was rigorously tested and quality is important etc etc but that is little comfort as I throw it away after just over a year. I am unsure what to do now to replace it. I want a waterproof bag but have lost faith in Titleist bags so unfortunately I may be carrying my Titleist clubs around in another brands bag which kind of spoils the look.

Might be worth talking to an upholstery repair shop or shoe/luggage cobbler about sewing it back up since it is directly on the pocket seam.
  3. Thanks for the reply, it is difficult to see from the photo but I think a repair would be very difficult. The black material has torn so Is now significantly shorter meaning everything would need to be bunched up and put under tension and there would be very little room to form a seam. It looks to me like another line of fine stitches in the black material would be likely to cause a repeat tear in the material.
  4. Would also be worth taking the matter up with Team Titleist. I had a StaDry 15 Cartbag as well that was only 23 months old and the top front seam sealed zipper failed. Spoke to Titleist sales and was given the same warranty response as yourself but after speaking to Team Titleist about it, they helped out and the matter has now been resolved. Must say however, that the picture shows a rather large section of failed stitching though! Good Luck!

Maybe clarify who you talked with that you call "Team Titleist" to resolve. There are many Titleist staffers with various positions and things work a little differently depending on the USA market versus foreign markets. In the US, we would recommend discussing the situation at Customer Service using contact info at the bottom of this page. Over-stuffing the coat pocket to the point of pulling hard to close the zipper time and time again will lead to this type of failure. It is hard to determine if that was the case here or something specifically wrong with the threads. Titleist would need to inspect the bag to know for sure. Every case can be unique in the cause and subsequent action taken.
  6. Thank you for the response, can you please clarify how you spoke to Team Titleist. I still feel dissatisfied at the response I received, I would be very surprised if this is an isolated incident.
  7. Luke or Will at Titleist HQ in St.Ives will hopefully be able to assist or at least point you in the right direction. Hope they can help!
  8. @Gary Stronach, I have just had a failure on my StaDry 15 bag top pocket zipper. Part of the zip has come away from the bag. I play 25 rounds a year and am really disappointed this has occurred after a similar timescale owning the bag as yourself. Have you any advice on how to resolve this with Titleist. I suspect I'm going to get the standard out of warranty response.

In addition to Dale's recommendation. Additionally you should should have started your process by taking the bag back to where you purchased it with you receipt per the warranty Being it is past the warranty period it may limit your recourse. I also feel that the stitching failure could have been enhanced by overpacking. Just an observation. I have used Titleist bags for many years and have never had this issue, because I pack my bag carefully ensuring it is never over packed. I currently play a Cart 14 and two Tour mid size bags. I would follow Dale's advice and email Customer service. Incase you have not seen this, here is the warranty for Acushnet Europe. Hope something positive comes out of your contact.

  11. Thanks for the reply but I have mailed and spoken to people at Acushnet Europe who response simply referred to the warranty period of twelve months. I have also had many Titleist bags which have never been problematic and still use a Titleist lightweight cart bag and a Titleist carry bag. I fully understand your point about overpacking. I can’t quantify overpacking but don’t believe it has ever been overpacked, I rarely carry that much stuff. I believe the failure is due to the textured material being unsuitable for a the very tightly pitched stitching and the stitching has effectively produced a cut in the material. I don’t believe I have over used or over packed the bag which is why I was interested to hear if anyone else had similar issues. Maybe I was just unlucky but I am disappointed in the longevity of a supposedly premium product and the copy and paste response to my query. I don’t know what my next waterproof bag will be but at the moment I don’t think Titleist will be a front runner.
