It’s a beautiful bag but the clubs are such a chore pulling them out of the 4 way slots. I have driver, 3 wood, hybrid & putter in top slot. Those are ok. I have 3,4,5 irons in left slot, 5,6,7 irons in right slot and 8,9,PW,SW & lob wedge in the bottom wide slot. It’s the left slot & right slot that is giving me trouble. Sometimes I have to pull them all out to just to get one. Any suggestions?

I just purchased my Linksmaster last week so have only one round in with it. I didn’t experience that struggle, at least not yet. I will say that since I usually carry, it’s always best to put the bag on the ground standing straight up to take clubs out and put them back, and that’s been with png, and Titleist bags (been carrying for almost 20 years).

Try putting the grip end in first.

Seriously, that's the trade-off for using a lighter smaller bag. I have my bag set up almost the same way, and I use mid size grips and an oversize putter grip. Pretty tight fit. Many times I will grab all clubs in the slot and partially pull them out to get the one I want.
Especially that grossly obese putter grip. I tried using SlimFast but to no avail.

No different than the Players 4 and Players 4 Carbon. It happens because of the way the base stays flat on the ground which creates a crimping on the bag. I found all I need to do is hold the bag upright when pulling out or inserting clubs and the problem goes away. Hope this helps, they are beautiful bags.
  5. There's going to be tangles with lots of bags when you're cramming 15 clubs in it. Mines a dream but I only use 12 clubs. I have the 4way LinksLegend
  6. Why are you carrying 15 clubs as that may have an impact on the bag
  7. Yes i have started to keep the putter in its own slot.. i know it looks annoying but as you use it every hole it stops from getting tangled like you say

Bags are designed to carry the legal amount of clubs, which is 14. If you read his post correctly he listed his five iron twice. Believe he is carrying 14 clubs. Most suggestions seem logical.

I have the Linksmaster bag and carry 14 clubs. The way I arrange it is 3 clubs on the top slot then I split 6 clubs in the middle two slots and the rest are in the bottom slot. In the top slot, my putter is in there and it has a SuperStroke grip (Pistol GT Tour 2.0). I don't have a problem getting the clubs in and out of the slots. The only time it may become an issue is if I have the apparel pocket stuffed and it just tightens things up.
