I just got my first pair of footjoy premiere series shoes after years of looking at them and couldnt justify the price tag. all I have to say is WOW! why did I wait so long?! beautiful shoes with a great fit. Im not sure if I want to hang them up on the wall to look at or wear them on the course!

    Same! Picked up the premier series field spikeless 3 weeks ago. Went for the classic look this year. I couldn’t believe how lightweight and comfortable they were right out of the box. They didn’t even need to be broken in. Wore them for the first time on Bethpage Black, which is a very difficult walk. Lots of elevation changes. They held up wonderfully and my feet were not in pain at the end of the round. Totally worth the price tag.

    The support is superb in these models, and if you walk, that is a good thing. Personally, I prefer the BOA models instead of the lace ups.

    FootJoys are made for wearing on the course, Ha..ha.. no place to hang them on the wall. Enjoy them and happy golfing. Have been wearing FJs since 1985 and have never looked back. The Premieres are very special and have both spiked and spikeless models. Love the style, fit and durability.
  6. Really disappointed in Footjoy. Was given a pair of Premiers last fall as a gift....great shoes but the lace grommets on both shoes began falling out. So far, 3 on one and 2 on the other. I walk 18 3-4 times a week and rotate with another pair. Did all the requested steps to submit for warranty claim. Had to call back for 3 weeks to finally get someone to even look at the submission. Was denied since I don't have a receipt. Explained they were a gift, submitted multiple photos, full explanation, etc. Still denied. Was told they would look at the shoes if I sent them in and make a final determination on replacing after that. They have EVERYTHING they need including multiple photos at various angles as requested. I would have gladly sent them back after replacement or sliced them as directed. With an inferior shoe I could understand, but when it's a $200 pair of shoes 6 months old, they should absolutely take care of it. They didn't and it's a shame. I will not buy another pair of Footjoys. Unbelievably poor customer service.
