I hate to admit it, but I had the first bad experience with anything made by Titleist. Well, outside ship times on special orders at my local pro shop. LOL

I have always looped a png Hoofer bag. I've found them reliable, durable and a good bag for both Walking and Golf Cart usage. I switched over this year to a Titleist Players 14 bag. Loved the look and color and thought, "Why not since everything pretty much in my bag is a Titleist brand.

Well, I've had the bag for probably 3-4 months. The legs are good, but the cart strap to pick up the bag dang near ripped all the way off out of the plastic already! I seriously could NOT believe it when I saw it. Stopped back in the club house and told the Shop Manager about it. Essentially, "Sorry, but we've seen that on a number of the Titleist bags this year... They won't replace that cause it's wear and tear."

Now, I'm not one to normally complain. I mean I get that carry a bag can often times result in "wear and tear"... However, this year I haven't walked any of my rounds. (Nagging injuries and a cranky back) So that whole line was bunk to me. The only time my bag gets grabbed by that handle and the bottom of the bag is in and out of my 4Runner.

Needless to say, this is the first bad experience I've had with the brand, probably far more with my local shop than anything! But yea... guess I'll be shopping for a new bag then. I'd have to say in 30+ years of playing Titleist and supporting the brand one bad experience isn't a terrible thing... Hope it's not a trend.

    Sorry to be a downer.

This is Titleist warranty of their products. If you are within the one year period, reconnect with the shop where you purchased the bag, with your original receipt to set up a return authorization from Titleist. I would go back to them with your original receipt and ask them about the warranty as stated below. Titleist warrants it products for a period of one year from the date of purchase against defects in materials or materials. Good luck.

Sorry to hear about your experience. I’ve been using a Titleist carry bags with the carbon legs for over a year. I walk and carry a full set. So far, there’s been no fraying or rips. I can’t speak to the factory that made your bag. Titleist has great customer service and was wondering what was their response?
  4. That's not good

Looks like it should be covered by the warranty though

    Chin up
