  1. I've never been a fan of the dual shoulder straps, does anyone know of any decent single shoulder strap replacement options for the 2023 players 4 stand bag? I'd even be okay with a non OEM part. I know I don't have to use the 2nd strap, but it'd be nice to get rid of some of the excess clutter.

  2. This is 100% a huge blind spot in the 2023 players bag range.

We NEED and single strap option! How was this dropped?

Massive oversight by Titleist especially given the links legend bags are kind of a disaster.

Quality issues, heavy bags. Every caddy I hand it to hates it and complains about weight.

Please give us a Players series single strap option!!
  3. 100% agree.

Titleist should.really provide both straps on the players models.

They do it on the links legend bags and in my opinion, those are inferior bags. It's heavy and most caddies hate them because of the club tangle. I had one and it last about 14 months.

At the very least, give us the option to purchase the single strap

I personally would not want to pay the extra cost that will be tacked onto the bag price to provide both a dual strap and a separate single strap that will just sit in my closet and not be used. The majority of walking bag users prefer the dual strap bags so if anything, there should only be an option when you buy the bag to get a secondary single strap with an added charge at purchase.

This site is for Titleist loyalists like yourselves. If you want Titleist to hear your complaint, you might be better served by emailing customer service at: www.titleist.com/.../ask-a-question. This has been brought up on here many times and most have purchased an aftermarket single strap. Titleist does not sell them.

I've got to agree with the guys saying that the single strap ought to be available to purchase under the "gear" category, and it desewrves some open discussion. Many/most of the high end courses where you might hire a caddy (Pebble, Spyglass, etc) the caddies prefer a single strap so they can carry two bags (the dual strap makes it difficult for them to double carry). I faced this when I played Pebble, proud to show off my Players 4 Carbon; because of the duel strap, my bag got stuck in the little shed behind the first tee, and my stuff was transferred into a well worn, heavier, bag with a single strap.
Since then, I have found a single strap that fits the Titleist carry bags and never travel without it.
  8. George V, same exact issue just happened to me at Bandon. What strap did you find worked best for your bag?

Many of us also remember a few years ago when Titleist made a dual strap with a removable cross-clamp so that you could convert the dual strap to single strap. There were so many complaints from people who did not ever want the single strap and had issues of the strap popping out of the cross-clamp that they discontinued that design. I can't see them going back to a convertible strap so the only likely solution would be a single strap option to purchase separately.
  10. We were at Kiawah Island eating lunch on the veranda watching the caddies. Most of them carry two bags. However, they take the clubs out of the vacationers own larger bags and put the clubs in a small, Sunday carry bag with one strap. Do most high end clubs do this ... or do the caddies carry the players own bags?

Depends on the location and your bag. I have seen caddies do a double with Players 4 bags using just one of their dual straps. If you know you are getting a shared caddie, bring the smallest, lightest bag possible or they will probably switch you out. Ideally, you have a bag that already has a single strap. They will also probably adjust the strap, letting out as much as they can as it makes it easier for them with two bags.

In addition to what Dales says about the sites’s policy about using the customers bags, the caddie will also unload the extra 2 dozen balls, rangefinder (has his own), extra ball markers and tees, ball retrievers, swing weights, and the half eaten cheese sandwich from 2 years ago.

If using a caddie, just the minimum in the bag.
