  1. I have been a long time owner of png irons and driver along with putter. I been heavily considering trying something else. However, I don’t know how to go about trying other equipment such as Titleist other than buying it. I then run the risk of having a set of clubs I don’t like or can’t use very well. Are there any programs that allow you to test this equipment or try it out for a round or two, or even test at a range a couple times before just outright buying? If there is I’m definitely interested in buying if I can see a difference in my game. Currently a 7-9 handicap player, think it would be worth switching?

Find a course near you that is an authorized Titleist dealer. If they have Titleist range balls and rental clubs, they may have a few test sets that you can take out on the course and give a try. You will be limited to stock shafts so results will not be as good as a set that is fit specifically to your swing. Your other option is to visit a golf specialty store that has hitting bays. They will have stock clubs you can at least see and hit. Again, results will not be as good as having a Titleist fitter optimizing your selection based on swing diagnostics.

My club always has Titleist demo woods and iron sets for play on the course or use at the range.

I would recommend going to a local golf shop in your area to see if they may have loaner clubs. Some fitters do offer to loan clubs when golfers are looking to change brands. I would check at a PGA Superstore in your area or any reputable golf shop. I shop regularly at a locally owned shop who is also a fitter and I can borrow clubs to try all the time. Loyalty has it's advantages. Getting ready to get fitted for my new T series irons.
