  1. Hi, I picked up some used 716 MB irons. Each iron has a matching serial number, I entered it into the serial number registration and got a message "we were unable to locate any club details associated with the serial number " does this mean they are not authentic?

Not necessarily. The original owner may have never registered them and the point of registration is the ensure they are recorded for warranty purposes. Once the warranty period is over, the registration is pointless. Any serial number can be etched on counterfeit clubs so if you are concerned you might have counterfeits. have them looked over closely by a experienced Titleist dealer and ensure that the place you got them from has a believable story behind their history. Typically, if the deal is too good to believe, chances are the clubs are not originals.

Your irons were manufactured in 2015. That could be the reason.

    Please note:

Only products purchased within the last year may be registered with Titleist.

Please be informed that registering a serial number does not confirm the authenticity of the product. The only way to be sure that the product is authentic, is to purchase your Titleist products from an authorized dealer. For a list of authorized retailers, please click on the Golf Shop Locator.
