  1. Hello, I just played my first round carrying my new StaDry Players 5 bag. For sure a premium bag there are things the really should be addressed for the next version. The main issue is that when you carry the bag, the pressure on back padding section (where the bag hits your lower back) causes the legs on the bag to extend. Seems like there is a rod in the bag and for some reason when there’s pressure on it, the legs extend. This means the legs hang when walking and it’s incredibly annoying. You would really think that someone at Titleist would have tested walking with the bag , before putting it into production. It’s such a ridiculous oversight. I’ve never had this happen, even with bags that are 1/3 the price… other notes about this bag. Having double zippers would really help with accessing the bag. But maybe they don’t have them on the StaDry for waterproof reasons. A key ring in the valuables pocket would be nice. Or some type of hidden mini pocket. The ball pocket is massive and should have inside pockets. The pocket could hold 40ish balls but no one carries more than 10-12. So there’s lots of wasted space there. The tee pocket is very rigid to open. Also there does not need to be two drink holders. That seems odd… overall its a nice bag and I got this bag instead of the new png Hoofer because of how waterproof it is. It might be the best water proof bag, but for 310 euro, you’d expect the functionality to be much better. If I don’t fix the issues with the legs then this bag will be return. It’s a deal breaker for people who carry.

Known issue with many stand bags (multiple brands) that use the same leg design. Becomes more problematic the more the bag sits with legs extended. Do not store it with clubs in the bag and legs extended. Store it when not playing in an upright position to take tension off the leg wires. You can also unsnap the clip between the leg wires and move it up about an inch to increase tension on the leg wires.
  3. Thanks for the reply. I do store the bag standing straight up. Quite frustrating that it’s a know problem and still wasn’t fixed. Or that it would be released with this issue. Crazy that only forums mention this and no reviews from “reputable” websites talk about this. I’ve tried moving the piece of plastic attached to the rods and it seems to not want to move and any force might break the piece. Any suggestion for moving it? I see Vessel sells a little strap that you can attach to the leg and to a strap and when you pick the bag up , it pulls the leg up. Let’s see if that helps. Seems simple and like it would work.
