Has anyone used both the Titleist Players and FootJoy Pure Touch glove? I currently use the FootJoy Pure Touch and know the Titleist Players is a direct comparison, but I haven’t used it. Pure Touch is $38 and Players is $28 so I’d enjoy the savings for the same/comparable product. I am not interest in any of the other models each line offers, just these two

I think the Players glove is more in line with the Foot Joy Stasof glove. I alternate between the two and they feel the same. They're both the same price also.

The only thing I can say is that the Players glove is awesome. I have been using it for a few years and would probably never try anything else, it is that good.
  4. I have used both and to be honest I don’t prefer one over the other. Because of the differences in price I use the Titleist glove for the range and the FootJoy glove for scoring rounds.
They both are super supple and provide excellent feel while offering perfect tackiness/grip. You can’t go wrong with either one!
I will say a trick I have found, that has worked well for me, is to let the gloves air dry on the way home from the course. Then, once they are dry, I place them back in the original packaging the way they came new. It makes them last a good while longer for me.

The FJ is the softest and purest glove on the market. The Players glove is a very thin glove and will not last as long.

Ive played them both throughout the years and the FJ Pure Touch is best glove on the market. The players is great, but is very thin and will wear quicker. In the end, the money spent on gloves will be the same as you will go through less gloves witht FJ.
    NO BRAINER!

I have used the Players glove for years and love how thin it is. The feel for me is wonderful. I have been curious about the Pure Touch. I have noticed that the seam on the thumb part is different and it's one of the reasons I stopped playing the Sta-Sof glove.

Players glove is the best for me by far but doesn't last as long as the FJ.
  9. The Titleist player glove is my favorite glove from Titleist. It is my go to being a college golfer. With that being said, I go through them every 2 weeks. I have tried on the pure touch and it is super nice. The only thing that holds me back is the price because I go through them regularly. Any knowledge on the longevity of those gloves?

Hard to tell on the longevity on the Puretouch. It all depends on the individual. They will last longer than the thinner Player's glove. The only way to find out is to try one. The New StaSof gloves have a lasting power and fit. l. My personal favorite glove. Proper fit is the key to a lasting glove. I am providing the following link with some helpful information regarding the fit of a golf glove. It may increase the wear of your glove.

Titleist Players glove for me. If you grip the club too close to the end of the grip, it is the leading cause of premature wear. The line of the grip cap should be showing past the pad of your hand. Less than that creates excessive rub. Ill fitting gloves are the other reason.

I have been using the Players glove for a while now and noticed that I go through them much faster... so now I want to try the FJ to see if there is a difference in the durability... and playability!

I've been rotating a Players and a StaSof. Now I'm curious to give the PureTouch a try.

I'm in the Players glove now and alternate with the Stasof. I like the thinness of the Players, but the only gripe I have is that they stretch out more because I have little sawed off shotgun stubby fingers with wide palms (Cadet ML). Never tried the Pure Touch - is it worth the extra $12?

I use the Pure Touch and have for a long time now. I have used the Sta-Sof as well. There is a difference between the two hence the cost difference. I will go back and forth with the Footjoy options.

t have used the Players as well but don't have as much history as I do with the Footjoy options. I typically don't ware through them fast but after use I put them in a ziploc bag flattened out to dry.

Different gloves for different guys.ween the twoI
  18. I used the players for quite some time, it wears out quickly. But the feel is pretty unmatched. I received a ghost glove as a gift and have been gaming that for a bit now. Rather fond of it to be honest. Games the FJ for a bit and found I like that as well, think it’s more of a preference thing for longevity. If I had to choose, I’d stick with the players out of the 2, really like the feel of that glove.

Does everyone find the sizes to be comparable between the Players and Pure Touch?

Like many here I’ve exclusively used the Players for years but have been curious about the Pure Touch. Not many places around here stock the Pure Touch.
  20. I’ve toggled between Sta Sof, Titleist’s mid-tier glove and finally the FJ Pure Touch. Pricey but I load up on Pure Touches when they have a 4-for-3 event…hard to imagine anything as nice. For what it’s worth, I use the Sta Sof gloves on the range…then upgrade to the Pure Touch when on the course.

I have used both and like both. I predominantly use the Players glove which is great. Absolutely no complaints.
