I finally got selected in the Masters ticket raffle for Wednesday Tickets. Titleist is my brand of choice. I was wondering if Titleist allowed patrons to tour the tour truck during an event? I’d love to see making clubs and all there equipment.

Zero chance. Tuesday and Wednesday are the busiest days for the tour truck staff, and majors weeks are the busiest by far.

Nope. They are very busy handling pro customers those few practice days before they pack up and head out on Wednesday afternoons. All tour trucks and company reps are inside the restricted areas.

Congratulations on getting tickets (I did not, again.)

Admittedly, I don't know the answer, but if I were a betting man, I would say they don't offer it. Honestly, the trucks aren't that big and a tour would probably take like 5 minutes. You stand in place and turn around a couple of times.

That said, one of the things I did notice when there in 2022, I have no idea where they keep the trucks. I've been to other events and they're pretty noticeable. Masters, nowhere in sight. I could have missed them, but given that the views of the grounds are as important as anything at Augusta, I'm sure they're well hidden or even offsite, nearby.

No, they are busy tending to the Pros and dont have the time. You couldn't get passed security. Luckily as a perk of my job Ive been inside, but kept it very brief as to not bother them.

There was a recent YouTube by a couple of UK correspondents that took a tour of the European Tour Truck while at the Open this year. As close as us mere mortals will get inside. I got as close as 50 feet at the LPGA Championship at Congressional but entering was a non-starter, even checking with the concierges and shamelessly begging…
  7. Great question and thought! It would be incredible!

In the early 90's I was able to get into the TM trailer at the Westchester Classic in NY because I was friends with the TM rep at the time. He escorted me into the trailer and introduced me to one of the techs. The tech was really nice and showed me around. He then gave me a demonstration by asking me if I'd like to have him make me up a driver. He proceeded to make me a Burner 10.5 with a Dynamic Gold S300 shaft and a GP cord grip. It took him all of about 10 minutes to hand me a ready to hit club. That was about 32 years ago and I doubt that could happen today.

There is a ton of proprietary items and information that all OEMs keep close to the vest. I even tried my Titleist University Credentials and Ambassador stuff during the Monday practice and Tuesday Pro Am days. Nada.. If you were lucky enough to get inside, there would be no pictures, or data given, just this is where we keep our stuff and thanks for stopping by. See Ya!
Personally, as a fitter, builder and repair guy I would rather spend time in the truck (Bucket list) than play most of the top one hundred courses. Just me.
