Hey Team Titleist! For the past year or so, I have usually practiced/played about four to five times per week. Now that I am a starter on my high school golf team, I am golfing 7 days a week. My scores haven't been significantly worse, (I have actually been more consistent) but I just can't seem to go as low as I used to. Also, I have been getting frustrated alot more, and I just can't seem to make proper reads on short putts anymore. Is this something I am physically doing wrong, or could this just be from fatigue from playing too much?

The short answer, yes. Take a break, practice/play 4 to 5 times a week is plenty. Give your body/mind 2 to 3 days rest and you will be able to focus better. Golf is very much a mental game and even the best golfers in the world take breaks more for the mind than the body.

Hey I'm also on my highschool team and i'm a sophomore.  I only practice for 2-3 hours a day maybe 5 days a week and its put me on top of the pyramid for my golf team I'm number one.  I would suggest that when you do decide to practice only practice to achieve a goal.  For example, when i practice I'll go to the range wanting to hit 20 shots within 20 feet with a 5 iron 200 yards away.  as soon as I accomplish that goal i move to short game.  I'll maybe want to hit 10 bunker shots in a row within 7 feet. then i move to putting etc. you get the idea.

Its not that hard but always have a goal for each section of your game when you go to the range and as soon as you accomplish them, leave because you did what you were supposed to.  On my off days, I go to the gym.  Its a great idea to get an exercise program going.  I've gained 70-80 yards of the tee in the last 6 months no joke.  I was 5'4 now im 5'11 and i've gained about 40 pounds which turned my drives from 210 to 290 and spikes into the 300's once in  a while.
