  1. Looking for some advice on how to increase my spin rate with the driver. I swing at 94 mph with a ball speed around 138, my launch angle is good around 14, but my spin rate is low around 16-1700. I have a aldila NV 44 Magnum shaft at 44.5", it is suppose to be a high launch high spin shaft..............HELP

The Aldila NV shaft is not high launch, high spin. You want the Aldila NVS shaft.

If I could, lets take a step back. What are you currently unhappy with about your ball flight? Are you not getting enough carry? I'd love to consistently spin it near 2000 rpm. Be careful adding spin because that could hurt you in the wind and lead to a weaker flight.
  4. I agree but everything I read tells me 94mph swing speed needs more spin to help keep the ball airborne longer

you might want to look into getting a different shaft. Aldila is known for making low launch low spin shafts also try hitting a lesser weighted shaft.

I like the flight and roll of my 1700 rpm drives (my courses have been dry), but I will usually tee up high to have about a 18-19 degree launch angle.

Have you considered keeping the ball in airborne longer by simply hitting it higher?

Nice Spudstarch, its all about high launch with low spin!

I've been told you don't want your spin rate to get higher than 25-2700 or you could lose distance. I'd start with teeing up higher to increase launch angle before increasing spin rate. My spin rate is around 2100 swing speed 90 13-15 launch angle. I usually get good roll out with these numbers on the courses I play on. Higher launch & spin rate might get you more carry but may lose total distance by a few yards. good luck. I use a Diamana (redboard) 44Vsl Stiff 45" on my 910D2 it's a mid kick I've been told
