It could be many things that cause this. But before you go to a PGA teaching pro ask a golf friend of yours take a caddy look at your swing and see if your hips sway either forwards or backwards during the swing. This is many times the culprit. Hope this is of some help.

Also check where you're hitting the clubface. Hitting towards the heel of the driver can fade the ball.

Hi Kristofer ... a fade and a slice is caused primarily by an open club face at impact. It can also be influenced by the club/swing path to a lesser extent.

So, as DV aptly puts it, before you go to your local PGA pro for a review, have a look at your swing from both the DTL (down the line) view and the Front On/Caddy View.

Unless you are striking your tee shots on the heel of the driver, something is now occurring in your swing that is causing you to leave the club face open at impact. It could be all sorts of little things from your grip or set-up to takeaway or transition from backswing to downswing.

If you are satisfied with the rest of your swing with other clubs, then have a little look at it and see if you and a friend can figure out -- if not definitely go see your local pro. It will save you some frustration.

I am hitting the ball either on the toe or center of clubface. I have everything set to fade and at 8.75 degree loft. C1. This set up seems to keep my ball straight but with a nice fade. I am hitting with the new 917d3

Check your alignment as well it could require just a minor adjustment.

I don't know anything about the new 917, but maybe the weight in the back is off? Not sure what the different weights are, but seems to be the only thing that could change, unless it is a different shaft in the new driver.

It could be something as simple as your hips are getting too far ahead of the ball which is causing you to open up, which causes the club face to open up a bit typically!
