Everyone wants to bomb the driver. Here are 2 tips you should use. :)

  2. Just received my custom driver yesterday... hoping in the next couple weeks it'll warm up enough here in the GTA to put these tips to use! Thanks!

Great tip, Jonathan! Do you have the sensation that you're swing up, or is the positive attack angle you create a function of your ball position?

Bit of both. Tee it high and move it up to encourage angle of attack, but key feel is to straighten and extend the lead leg.

My biggest problem with driver is hitting down and not up. My pro has given some tips to work on it and it's a work in progress. Spin rates are too high and losing distance. One tip he gave me was to put a head cover in front of the ball, a few inches away. The goal is too miss it, telling me I'm hitting up on it and not down. If i hit down, i'm hitting that cover after striking the ball. But I like this tip as well Jonathan and will give it a shot on the range. Thanks.

Great tips! I cant wait to try them out. I just recieved my new TS2 Driver and 3 Wood a couple of weeks ago and have only played with them and haven't been able to go to the range to dial it in yet. I seem to be hitting my driver alot on the toe but my mishits have been miles better with the TS2 from my old driver but I need to work on striking it in the middle more. Would standing closer to it help me to not hit it on the toe? Thanks again!

Great Tip!!! I have a friend that I'll make sure he sees this. His angles vary up or down but if he can solve one I think he will see great results.
