    Saw some progress tonight. Shot a 44-47. If it was not for a ball in the water leading to a triple on a par 3 I would have broke 90! I concentrated more on getting the ball down the fairway and that led to fewer penalty shots and whiffs. My short game helped me get several up and down. I used my 6 iron and 7 wood a lot more. Thanks for all the help.

    Awesome! It's always nice seeing real progress in our golf game. Sometimes the sensible iron shot off the tee finding the fairway can make all the difference in scoring well.

    Do like hearing how people are playing on here.

    Congrats! Man, I remember the 1st time I broke 100. I thought I had won the U.S. Open. It's funny, but I think that it was a bigger thing to break 100 than the 1st time I broke 90. As I got closer to 90 I kind of expected it but when your a beginner, breaking 100 is like the Holy Grail.

    Congratulations! Best of luck for next time. I started breaking 100 consistently a few years ago, it might be a yo-yo for a while, nearing the mythical 80s, then suddenly you'll drop a 108 out of the blue. keep believing in yourself and your game, and you'll get there.
