I love using a line on my golf ball…I feel like it helps me visualize and line up the ball better for putts. My question is…I’ve used sharpie and inkzall to create the line but when I use an iron or wedge the line will leave marks on my club face…any recommendations on how to stop this or a type of sharpie or inkzall to use? Appreciate the feedback.

I recommend not worrying about it. Focus more on where the ball goes.

Haha I agree! I just more so don’t want marker lines all on the club faces that’s all!

I don’t think there is a way to ensure the Sharpie mark doesn’t rub off onto the iron clubface when impacted directly. I’ve never drawn a straight line on my golf ball which would be on the inside and outside of many dimples. Instead, I place a black dot with a Sharpie on the inside of three dimples. Never noticed a black mark from impact appearing on my iron faces. Hope this helps.

I've never had the problem with getting marks on the face after marking. Always used black sharpie extra fine point. Maybe the mark is to thick? Kinda strange. Sorry can't be more help.

Most of the guys I play with use every color ball and brand imaginable. If it's a white Titleist, they know it's mine...lol
  9. I heard the best way to get rid of those marks is to get the new Black T series of irons.. I plan to try that myself.

First do not put lines on my balls. Use the line that is already provided. I mark my balls with three blue dots to identify my ball and never had the "sharpie fine point permanent marker" come off on my clubs. They just fade away over a period of time. I put the dots in the dimples. Try that!

I've never had that problem. I use one dot underneath the number on each side of the ball.
  12. I put one red dot next to the Titleist word with a red sharpie and it has never been an issue on the club face ...does fade over the course of the round and can be done again
