Had an interesting thing happen last week. Went in for a putter fitting as my Scotty Cameron was just not getting the job done. I have carried it for over 20 years and love it but my statistics seemed to indicate a mallet putter might be better for me. My fitter mentioned that the loft on the putter was well over 5.7 degree and might have gotten slightly bent. He bent it back to 1 degree and the difference is incredible. Knowing your equipment and numbers is super important. I cannot believe I was able to putt with that thing with that type of loft??
